ABOUT GIRL907
With a sound born out of Kodiak, Alaska (area code 907) and fine-tuned in the music cities of Nashville and Los Angeles, GIRL 907 is an infectious pop duo with a modern twist on a throwback vibe.
The brand new pop group consists of sisters Rachele Lynae and Heather Cole. Raised as daughters of a fisherman in Kodiak, Alaska, Rachele and Heather and have been singing together since they were barely big enough to stand alone on a stage.
Heather Cole followed a solo pop career in LA with the release of her debut single, “Hearts Will Break”, which gained attention from iHeart Radio’s “Most Requested Live with Romeo” .
Meanwhile, Rachele stayed in Nashville releasing a critically acclaimed debut country album with singles “Party Til The Cows Come Home” and “Fishin For Something”
In 2018, Rachele expanded her songwriting expertise to include more pop material which created a common ground for the two to come together on a new sound and project that, in retrospect, had been in the making since their childhood.
The first track off the GIRL 907 project, “All Your Friends” was co-written by the duo during one of Heather’s many visits to Rachele’s home in Nashville, TN. “We had a blast writing the song,” Heather recalls, “It practically wrote itself… we laughed a lot.”
Once all the music was written, GIRL 907 brought producer Justin Wantz on board to bring it to life. “I think the fun we had writing really comes through in the tracks. Justin definitely got our vision and captured it perfectly!”
